José Rivera, a Center for Regional Studies research scholar and professor in community and regional planning in the School of Architecture and Planning, recently received the first ever Acequia Scholar Award from the New Mexico Acequia Association. The UNM Student Success Center hosts its 3rd annual “Operation:Registration,” a two day event which helps students remove existing holds on their accounts and register for Spring 2015 classes in the same night. Events kick off tonight at 9 p.m. until approximately 1 a.m. at five different campus locations. Events then continue on Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m - 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building Atrium. Free food & prizes will be available.

But before that, the UNM Mortar Board Senior Honor Society invites all to University of New Mexico’s oldest student tradition, the ‘Hanging of the Greens,’ Friday, Dec. 5.
