Every semester, University of New Mexico’s University College identifies students who have achieved academic excellence by granting them admission to the Dean’s List. In order to qualify for the honor, students enrolled in University College must have earned a semester G.P.A of 3.5 or higher, completed at least 12 credit hours and not received grades of credit or no credit.

The Lobo Reading Experience (LRE) Committee is currently in the process of selecting its book for the 2015-16 academic year. For the past six years, the Lobo Reading Experience has engaged students, staff and faculty in a program that sparks academic discussion across all disciplines by integrating a book voted on by faculty, staff and students, and used in the classroom and offering outside classroom experiences.

The UNM Student Success Center hosts its 3rd annual “Operation:Registration,” a two day event which helps students remove existing holds on their accounts and register for Spring 2015 classes in the same night. Events kick off tonight at 9 p.m. until approximately 1 a.m. at five different campus locations. Events then continue on Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m - 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building Atrium.
