The ASUNM Community Experience sponsors the second annual Battle of I-25, a week-long blood drive against intrastate rival New Mexico State, Monday-Friday, Feb. 2-6. TCE hosts an opening blood drive celebration Monday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. in UNM’s SUB Ballroom C.

The award winning film, "The House I Live In," which examines racial injustice perpetuated by United States policies, in particular the war on drugs, can be seen free on Monday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the Domenici Auditorium, adjacent to the medical/legal bookstore, on the UNM north campus. Light refreshments will be served.

The New Mexico Space Grant Consortium (NMSGC), based at New Mexico State University, recently awarded fellowships to Engineering and Arts and Sciences students at the University of New Mexico. Each recipient receives a $10,000 award.

On Monday, Feb. 2 at 11:02 a.m., the University of New Mexico will conduct a test of its emergency notification systems. The test will include all parts of the University's warning systems including sirens, e-mail, text messaging, social media page updates and UNM website updates.

An assistant professor of accounting at the Anderson Schools, Li spent several years in the world of international banking in China, where she was born, raised and received her bachelor’s degree. She came to the United States to complete her formal education and is now spending time in the world of academia at the University of New Mexico.

The Lobo Reading Experience (LRE) Committee is currently in the process of selecting its book for the 2015-16 academic year. For the past six years, the Lobo Reading Experience has engaged students, staff and faculty in a program that sparks academic discussion across all disciplines by integrating a book voted on by faculty, staff and students, and used in the classroom and offering outside classroom experiences.
